I bought my MK I shifter from e-bay. It cost me 50 dollars with shipping. Although it's a bit wobly, but for that low price it does it's job pretty good.

I've thought about a coolant leak or a cracked hose, but i never found any traces of leaking coolant. I'll have to try to search one more time. One more thing. Is it possible that the coolant is leaking somewhere only under presure(driving) and stops at idle?

I don't want to hijack the thread,but after reading ewerything i have a few questions. From the BHG list of simptoms i have waterfall behind the dash and "magicaly" dissapearing coolant. No other simptoms. I can drag race the car as much as i like and she never overheats. Just out of curiousity...

In Europe all Supra's have pre89 tail lights. It doesn't mater if it's 87 or 92. Personaly i prefer the european(pre89 by US standarts) over american(post 89 by american standarts) tail lights. Nice car Leopold :bigthumb:

You'll be fine, but the speedo will show a bit incorect speed. Search for online tire size calculator. Talking about your mentioned tire size, you'll be driving 2-3km/h faster then your speedo shows.

In winter driving conditions the narrower tires are the better. Although, this will be my first winter with a rwd car and i'll have to learn some things in sliperry conditions, but i'm going as narrow as i can on the tires.
