To Add: maft pro also does timing control...idk how good it is but the kit i purchased came with a timing control cable also maft pro your able to plug a laptop into it and tune using laptop using TunerPro software(IIRC)

Ok Turtle I would research on 7m and jz builds before buying a aem for a 7m when u may find you want big reliable power from a 2j IMHO I don't like the thought of going from a 3.0 to a 2.5 liter But that's my thought I hear 1js do good for drifting :)

thanks for sharing your experience i did say screw it and install a aftermarket cd player but i did however find a used amp for sale so in the near future i'd really like to reinstall stock headunit with a working amp
