Alot of aftermarket rotors are warped of the box. When I did use aftermarket rotors I cut them before I used them... and shure enough it didnt cut straight like a new rotor should.
When installing them just cover them in copper slip, and reapply when it your under the car. We do this at the dealer it makes for easly allignments 6+ years down the road.
Hardware kit shouldnt be too much... (its just springs and pins and clips) Unless the adjsuter broke or the star wheel is completely rounded off and not staying in place. Best go in person and ask if there is a kit other wise just order the spings, pins and the horse shoe clips.
Possible areas. Battery - starter wiring (positive/negative) - starter - Igntion cylinder wiring or Neutral saftey switch.
Chances its starting while your hitting it is luck, if you truely put 4 starters in it already.
