Its installed with the tranny bolted on. Its not hard you dont need to remove anything other then you inspection plate. Its just a little tricky slidding it onto the housing. Trail and error is the only to figure it out.

I think you guys miss read my orginal post. As I asked is it possible to Mod. the door panel to fit the 6.5 speaker grill from a 91-92. OR If that is not possible. Can you mod the panel to release some of the sound that would be caught and muffled behind the original door panels.

Did you keep the turbo oiled while it wasnt being used. And also 1/2 a quart or 1/2 your total oil?

No body mentioned this but also Check Engine Light can store a code and not be on. For example my car has code 31 but the light is off. You have to jump the terminals under the hood with a wire. Read the TSRM.
