Picture I Drew in CAD of my 7MGTE

3DS max is used for rendering. To make 3d objects in max is rediculous. Make the models in a REAL cad program, such as inventor, catia, solidworks, Pro-eng, ect. ect. Then import the models into 3DSmax to render the model into an animation. That is what I do anyways. There are no real...

Copy of a cast HKS exhaust mani?

"Recomend" is the key word. Do you have a picture of any of the 7MGTE SSAC manifolds cracking from the weight of the turbo on the welds? Or is it speculation. Of course I think it is an excellent idea to add bracing, it cant hurt, but is there any proof of the 7mgte SSAC manifold cracking...

Copy of a cast HKS exhaust mani?

That is not a "grade" though, that is some fancy bullshit to make people that don't know any better think the manifold is good.

Copy of a cast HKS exhaust mani?

Please show me a 7mgte ss autochrome manifold that has cracked from heat cycling. Please. They don't even say what grade iron it is casted from. Personally I would use the tubular version over that cast piece until someone can verify the exact metalurgical properties of it.

MegaSquirt II Successfully Running on 7M-GTE!!! (Lots of pics and walkthrough)

FYI, A gt35R and the GT40 in question (GT40-82) have very similar compressor wheel and turbine wheel sizes. The 35R has a few mm larger inducer, same size exducer for the compressor wheel and the 35R has a 9mm smaller turbine wheel. The 3582R is rated for more power than the GT40 as well.

Hmm, the "ported shroud" is just a machined slot? I always thought it was small holes.
