I purchsed the head from Dover Cylinder. All they do is rebuild heads for cars. A few local high hp supra guys have used them in the past and they are pretty cool here in the atlanta store. Im sure if I just take the head off the car without taking the head apart it won't ruin my warranty. But...
thats the idea i have. im gonna take it off the block tonight and take the head back to the machine shop and have them correct the problem. i'll take some pics of the underside of the head when its off.
yea it was a local shop. infact it was dover cylinder head. theres a few of them around the country. i have a 6month warranty on it. i havent been doing high revs. just typical 3500rpm cruising
taking off the head aint a real issue for me. just want to avoid it if possible. how about the retainers letting loose of the valves? im not sure if thats possible but i figured i throw it out there

im getting two different answers about this concern. on the wiring instructions the brown wire goes to THA on the engine harness and the word splice is used.. to summarize "splice the brown wire into the ecu side of the wire" does that mean to cut the THA wire on the harness in half and connect...
