The last 7M I had shipped to me, (complete engine) was 495 lbs or 595 lbs (it was some time ago But I believe it was 495). Not too bad I didn’t think. But then again I have no idea what my LS6 weighs.

Sounds like a Civic owner:evil2: Aftermarket "racing" seats (the good ones) will cost more then $400. I guess you can buy some of those eBay seats if you wanted to.

Find a elec. fan from a CTS-V ;) (LS6 is OE on them) off ebay of craigs list or something.

I went with felpro gaskets( 2 different 7M builds), and also have no complaints here. Most of them came from partstrain.com (I have driving to pick up parts when they can be delivered to me). BTW get OEM Toyota cam cover/valve cover seals ;). I found a new set in the F/S section for $15.

If going your going to replace the HG, go with a MHG and a set of ARP studs. I just would do rather do it once and spend the money on the machining so it is done right the first time. BTW, need to have block decked (straight & smooth, 30Ra), and head also straight & smooth. There is a reason...

Congrats!!!! you are one of the few people that have actually covered/taped up the opening on the turbo/intake so dust and any other crap dosent settle in them while there working on the engine.:thumbup::thumbup: (yep, you get 2 thumbs up)

Step away for the turbo, this msg. will self destruct in 10 seconds. LOL turbo's have come down in price so much just buy a new one, not worth the $$$ to rebuild many of them.

If you can't rev match I bet your syncros in your transmission are shot. Yes, every manual transmission should be able to rev. match to shift gears ;)

Old school rockford fosgate amp's has the power!!!! (IIRC,model 800a2). I ran a 400w one back in the day. It was a great amp ran 2 12" JLw4's with it, but dam that thing got HOT!! Serisouly I could have fried an egg on it. Also MTX thunder class D amp's are strong (IIRC , model 81000D)...
