A single pump can half fail and lean your motor just as easy as a dual pump system can have one pump fail. Why would you assume that someone who may run a staged dual pump set up would not have a fail safe system in place? A fail safe is much safer than your single pump.

Depends on what your doing with the motor in terms of power and what type of use it will see. For 400 to 500 hp I am ok with .0035. Even though the wiseco is coated on the sides, .0025 is a little to tight for me.

NDC bearings in the clevite box 95% of the time in STD and -.25mm. Once you get into the -.50 and -.75 then you start to see the federals and acl bearings in the clevite box. NDC/Clevite are the only bearings proven to hold up in a 7m for over 1k HP. I still have some New in the box original...
