    Idle issue

It is this http://www.driftmotion.com/Idle-Speed-Control-Check-Valve-and-Grommet-p/dm3170.htm It sits inside the manifold and is between the ISC valve to the manifold.

    Idle issue

No problem. Are you sure your throttle linkage is not sticking? On the throttle linkage assembly on the passenger side valve cover, I would check for any play in it as those plastic washers also wear out and can cause a sticky throttle. Also I would use some silicone spray in that area on all...

Any Recommendations for a Rack & Pinion?

Hello, I am currently going to be replacing my rack & pinion on my 87 Supra as it leaks and I have been without powersteering for years due to this. I wanted to go with a Napa re-manufactured unit but unfortunately they are discontinued. I have also heard of others having problems within a...

Trouble Getting Timing in Spec with BC 264 Cams

If you don't mind me asking, when did you by these cam shafts? I'm wondering if the new ones are fixed or if other places are selling old inventory. I would like to buy a set of these 264's but this issue is keeping me away

Dripping Oil at Rear of Transmission and Driveshaft

No problem. I was lucky to have the transmission out of the car and with standing it up, I used a flat head screwdriver at different angles to remove the OEM seal but if I were you I would invest in a seal puller since your transmission is still in the vehicle.

Dripping Oil at Rear of Transmission and Driveshaft

I just put that same rear transmission seal in my r154 that is going in my Supra. It is a Timken seal but I personally probably should have went with the OEM one (has a full rubber coated exterior like the engine seals). If you remove the bolt holding the speedometer cable housing to the...

    Why me

From a while back I remember of others having coolant in there also. There is 3 bigger bolts with between each section of the 2 sparkplugs. Clean that area good and see if that is where the leak is starting. Also you have coolant lines that run to the throttle body so it would be a good idea to...

JZA70 return to the road and onwards to reliable performance

Nice and very clean. What type of exhaust work are you having done?

    Why me

Did you have the block and cylinder head milled before you put the head gasket on? Also what head gasket and torque values are you running with? I would not use that block seal as it clogs up heater cores and other cooling passage paths. It may be a quick temporary fix but not a long term.

    earlier spoiler third brake light

All OEM spoilers for the mk3 Supra had the 3rd brake light built it. Im sure you can unmounted it if you did not want to have one. There is also a difference in the 3rd brake light styling in the years as the 87 is a perfect rectangle shape and the 88 has a smooth curve shape on both sides of...

    Where did everyone go?

Hey Mario, Yes its been kinda dead unfortunately. I remember the old days when almost all profiles had the green "online" light up next to their name and you can get a response within a few minutes for most questions or even a post in the "item wanted" section. SF has lot of activity though but...

Dripping Oil at Rear of Transmission and Driveshaft

I remember from awhile back a few people had issues with the head gasket itself leaking from where the oil drains from the rear of the cylinder head to the block. I would check that and also I took a picture from my upcoming build and circled the oil plug on the rear of the block that could also...
