mine has the miss also...i dont ever have stalling though or hard starting ect....mine will miss at 650rpm upto 800...then gone till 1500rpm then gone again at 1800rpm and up....i know a lot of owners have this miss nobody has ever figured it out...also the miss is probly there always but we...
agreed...it is my daily...i just want the wheels to sit flush with the fenders and i love a good lip on the rims...but ill pick this up elsewhere so as not to thread jack anymore...
sounds like you should probly just leave it alone for now...maybe do some research (not sying that to be mean)....i agree though that it is ugly as hell but disagree that the engine is ugly...i just wish it wasnt to cluttered and messy...seems the cheapest route is the hks vpc although they are...
so what offset would i need to accomplish this same effect with stock non pulled fenders? any ideas? either way his car looks great...on topic all those covers are goofy to me...not a huge fan...there is a gentleman on here that was trying to sell me a set of the hiros...thin he was...
well it seems like after some flash chatting that bilstiens are the way to go....i hear that they are adjustable? does that mean i could get a bit more drop out of the eibachs with them?
i will definatly do shocks at the same time...seems silly not to cause you already have them out....i would do it if they were bad or not....eibachs it is i think....what shocks are decent and most cost effective? tokico blues? or does it need to be ill2? thoughts?
that i cant answer....i just know thats exactly what mine does...mine from time to time will settle in increments from 1k to 650ish but not often....but mine the little pie shaped piece i was talking about kinda slides back and forth making it impossible for me to adjust...and it moves such a...
mine does this too exactly...not that this is whats happening to you but the little spring under my linkage (under the pie shape that the cable rides on) is toast and only works if you snap right off the throttle from speed...if you let off slow it will drop to 1k then slowly drop to its proper...
thats how mine is...but right after this post i got to storms in a row of 8" of snow and supposed to get 23" tonight and tomorrow...as soon as i get a decent day off imma figure it out i hope....
whats this about a newer style starter? does getting the 91+ fit earlier models just with threaded holes? details please as ive got this job to do as soon as i get a warm dry day....and ill take my 89 one back and swap it if it really makes it better to install....
very good...well the more i hear about people trying this the more it seems like its outa my league all together....i dont even really want it for looks as much as for function though it does look nice....keep up the good work boys....
hey nick i cant put my finger on it but your motor looks clean...and not dirt free but very un cluttered...dirt free too though...what all have you removed or moved? did you do a wire tuck?
yep...you got pics of your work so far or is that top secret stuff? im not ready to do this myself but i think i time i would really like to do it.....pretty low on the list though....
i guess im lost then...from the look of it you can go to the retro fit place get the fx package and then some fiber glass or similer work....is there more involved that im missing? there seems to be a few on here that have done it already....what am i missing? or are you guys taking it a step...
poodles you could probly make some good bank if you made a drop in for people...those lights he posted at first are $500...the kit from retro is less ($300ish) and then a couple hundred for labor....if i was good at that stuff i would do it in a heartbeat....there have been a ton of threads on...
i like it! still would like to see the back up and the nose down just a touch if it was mine...but without coil overs thats the best ive seen so far....do shocks effect the stance or height at all? now just need to see one with the rsr race on it....
