i would opt against a one piece, there was a napa part # around that worked for the carrier bearing.. otherwise literally find a driveshaft shop take it to them have them fix it ;) saves a ton on shipping and they usually sell the replacement parts cheap
racks for our cars are neither cheap nor easy to get. luckily seal kit is readily available and relatively cheap so i highly recommend rebuilding it :) i tell everyone that just remember what caused it to leak needs to be taken care of as well so be sure to replace or flush your lines, you can...
ive ordered plenty half the shit i get is wrong and before you know it youve wasted a week waiting on parts - no thanks.
guess i live in a part friendly city i get everything here cheaper than rockauto *shrug*
haha whoops , swap the bellhousings. *sometimes* you need to swap the extension housing as the speedo gear is a little different. ive had '1jz' autos come from all sorts of cars so you never really know
cast manifolds are all a copy of the turbonetics one a few years back. i think i paid 60$ for my most recent one and its a spitting image of the 470$ one a few years ago. just fyi its fine for 600hp ;)
bbk or nothing. if its a track car why cheap out on the most important part?
89 nissan 300zx 4 piston calipers. 120$ a caliper.
but why spend all of that time when you could just do it right?
im picky. victor reinz or ishino. carquest is usually 100$ cheaper on the set vs toyota and readily available... and its the same parts. i avoid felpro because its the autozone of gaskets. victor reinz (the same company that does clevite) or ishino (stone, oem toyota) is the way to go.
rockauto...
on the ge pan there is a spot for the oil return you just have to tap it (blank spot no studs get creative). for the feed you need to t off the oil pressure sensor. i guess i can get a pic tomorrow but once its in front of you its pretty simple.
wondering why anyone would choose to run rotella?
napa gold, carquest blue = wix cq is almost always cheaper to boot (wixfilters.com you'll see napa uses last 4 of the wix number and cq replaces the 5 with an 8)
