Is your EFI fuse good? Do you have your engine wiring harness properly grounded on the rear of the intake manifold?

To test the fuel pump you have to use a jumper and connect the +B and FP connectors in the diagnostic box.

If you look at your local Autozone they have them and sell them in either a 2 or 4 pack but its around 5 dollars (on a small carousal with other clips and small body hardware). Amazon also sell new ones...

No difference in the years but there is a slight size difference in the 70 Amp and the 80 Amp. The alternator housing's on both line up and bolt up like it should. Do you have a picture of your alternator you received?
