Well I can smell fuel from the engine bay. Its a pretty stong smell too. I guess it wouldnt hurt to check the voltage on the injectors. As for getting spark I'm pretty sure I'm not because those are new spark plugs and I took them off and they show no signs of sparking they are still new like if...
Ok, Well I'm trying to get my car ready for silv 08 but it doesnt have any spark. I have a 1jz auto motor from a soarer. It cranks real stong but no spark = no start. I know i'm getting fuel I can smell it and I can hear the fuel pump coming on. I've checked the crank sensor and even replaced it...
No the map sensor goes right were that plug is, right on the fire wall. Your motor probably didn't come with one, people like to take them off and sell them seperately for $100+ dollars.
They will be fine if you tighten them down, especially if you have t-bolt clamps. I did mine with a univesal kit aswell, and used a hacksaw to cut them.
I also drilled a hole in the firewall and ran my harness behind the stereo. no harness extending needed. Only thing you need to mess with is the body plugs.There are a couple threads out there to show you what to do.:icon_bigg
Yeah its a good idea just to make sure because its been awhile since I drop my engine in and I couldn't get any pics of the exhaust side mount. my heat shield and y pipe is in the way. I'm defiantly sure randy will help you out.
The rectangulish mount which is on the left goes on the drivers side and mounts where the fuel line is at. so the fuel line thingy goes on the mount. and the other squarish mount goes on the passenger side. I also have a soarer motor. basically you move the mounts back from where the previous...
