I'm guessing when its cold you're not actually driving it 4500 full boost right? Sounds like it could be a fuel pressure issue. On mine I could rev it in neutral just fine, but put a load on it and it didn't have the fuel pressure to accelerate past 3500 or so. It could also be your ECU.
Yes please post pictures once you mount them, I'm interested to see how they look and haven't seen many pics of them. I was thinking about getting these wheels but I don't like how the lip on them isn't really polished at all.
Mods are listed in the video. My proof is everywhere on the forum of stock to near stock cars. Obviously there are several exceptions such as yourself but in general I would say a mk3 with a 2j and a gt35r is decently quick for this forum.
I worked at a body shop for about a year. Gained a lot of experience using a buffer but never really got to save a car with one, just using it on new paint jobs. This is a whole new world! Definitely a lot of fun and a great feeling seeing your own car get such a treat.

When I had my first cage built there were a few problems:
I didn't have them put the forward bars through the dash, they kind of contoured around it and then went forward. This was a mistake for a few reasons. The front mounting point of the cage was about 6" further back than...
"I could have searched a lot more. I search as much as I could have." LMAO!
Check the sticky in the top of this section. 1JZ tech/swap faqs. THEN if you still have questions that you honestly cant find there or reasonably easily through search, post a question.
Hydrofan ftw. It flows so much better than the mechanical or the FAL fans. My temp gauge gets up to about 1/4 of the way up and never moves, no matter what. 100+ degrees outside, boosting, then using AC, the gauge wont budge past 1/4. I had a leak when I first got the fan, was as simple as...
Yeah its pretty common for companies not to cover tq wrenches. Hell even my snap-on tq wrench isn't a full "do anything you want to it" warranty. Don't drop your wrench!
