You should try and go back to hydrofan, its one of the best options out there by far. Fantastic performance and great clearance. I'm running 3" piping on my car with a koyo. From what I see, you need to redo at least part of your piping, the hard pipe from the throttle body to the part where it...
I'm sorry but the 6262 is just going to kill the gt35 in every category. People are getting up to 700whp out of this super fast spooling turbo and the gt35r just won't do it. It would be my turbo of choice had it not come out about a year after I completed my swap.
No I don't think it matters, but on both of the sensors, the wires form a triangle. Match the black to the blue and just attach the other ones so it would be the same as stock.
I was running the bosch mustang one as well. It was around 40dollars and you get a lifetime warranty so you never have to buy another one! Works great.
Different colors spray pearl a different way. Some of them you mix it in with the color, some of them you spray the color, then pearl with clear (not the clearcoat on the car, just a clear base for the pearl to sit on top of the actual color) and then you spray the clear. Depending on which way...
No... it isn't anything like mercedes and BMW. You know why? Because all of them are running 4300K. Which is the brightest output you're going to get. The color you're seeing is from the projector. Do it right and you'll have the look and performance that you want. 8000K in a random h4 housing...
It seems like there is an HID thread every day. DON'T DO IT. Not only that, but 8000k is ricer and retarded. It will have horrible output and be way too blue.
Well not the ONLY way lol TSX's aren't the only cars out there that came with HID's... there are TONS of good projectors out there that are legal and can be retrofitted :) Don't get stuck on TSX's as they aren't the best IMO. Just visit theretrofitsource.com which has already been posted in this...
Please post the picture, I'm 100% sure there is going to be a ton of glare off the lights. The ebay "projector" housings, aren't projector housings. They are normal housings with a piece of dome shaped glass mounted in the center, they are by far the worst as far as glare goes because it just...
Depends on what you're doing with your setup. If you're retrofitting projectors, then no they aren't worth it, all you need is a pair with clear front lenses (preferably glass) and you don't have to worry about the reflector or anything since the projector takes care of everything. If you're...
To everyone: pleeease don't come in here and post about how you have a plug in play kit in your ebay housings, and you think they look awesome. Its complete bullshit and you're probably blinding everyone else. Do a REAL retrofit with projectors made for an hid bulb and you will have twice the...
Well... it was what I had always been told to do because of "response" but after your post I went and read more on my own and it appears as though each location has its advantages and disadvantages. Placing it by the turbo like you have is indeed better for the turbo and also gets rid of the air...
Just an FYI, placing the BOV so close to the turbo isn't a great idea. It is supposed to be as close to the intake manifold as possible, which is why a lot of people have BOV flanges welded onto the throttle body.
One oil feed gets blocked off, the other goes to the turbo. The return for the single goes straight into the oil pan, you can buy the fitting from arizona performance. The coolant passages you just block off the nipples on the waterneck and the hardline that runs around the motor. Here are 2...
Interested in this thread as I throw a code 42 whenever I really get on the throttle and rev above a certain RPM. Haven't noticed any ill effects but the CEL will turn on every time I make a pull which is annoying. I'm running a 1jz on a 2jz ecu for reference.
I had one of the smaller ones and hated it, then I got one of the 2000lb stands for like $90 and it makes a ton of difference when working on the motor. I don't have to worry about spinning the motor either its a pretty simple task. My conclusion on engine stands is divide its rated capacity by...
