A turbocharged 4200 would be awesome but I'd be perfectly happy if GM just bumped the compression and swapped the cams. Back it with the torque tube/rear mounted T56 from the vette and put it in a light weight 2+2. Give it a base price under $25K and don't call it a Camaro.
It's a little cliche' but it's synergy. People enjoy spending time going through posts and contributing because there isn't the infighting and flame wars that plague so many message boards. Instead of writing the board off they contribute to the discussion, improving the knowledge base.

I learned on a stick welder, it's pretty good for teaching you how to lay a clean bead. If you don't lay a good bead you'll be spending a ridiculous amount of time banging slag off of your weld. MIG is easier, you don't have to swap rods and you spend a lot less time cleaning up. Stick machines...
Yep, and it's arguably the most advanced engine in GM's parts bin. A 4 valve/cyl, pent roof DOHC with VVT on the exhaust side, over 90% of it's peak torque available from 1600 RPM on and a 10:1 compression ratio that's 87 octane friendly. I'm a pretty big fan of this engine if you couldn't tell...
WTF? The NA and turbo engine have identical bores.
I believe John Lunsford is running 9:1 JE pistons. You really should talk with him about how that works in a 7M.
In general, increasing compression is exchanging potential mid range and peak power for more torque off boost and some...
I think how good the Japanese have it is highly overrated. They have horsepower restrictions, a tax on displacement and their vehicle inspection system sucks (registering a mk3 in Japan would cost more than what we pay to buy one). I'm glad I live in the land of cheap cars.
Your power steering reservoir is that metal can behind the fan shroud, sitting to the right of your AFM and probably says "toyoda" on the cap.
Now would be a good time to learn how to wrench. Gather up some friends who know how to work on cars so you'll have people to help keep you out of...
Personally I didn't care for my experience with suprastore but others may have had a different experience. I dealt with suprasport.com a while back when it was under different ownership. I had a really good experience then but I haven't tried dealing with the new owners. I haven't heard good...
Most popups are designed to take advantage of IE's weaknesses since it's the most common browser. Just switching to firefox or opera will clean up most pop up problems. Some folks don't like them but I suspect that they didn't bother to install the plug ins for animations and such.
It's only assault if you touch them (maybe they have a different definition of assault in Va :dunno: ) though a cop could have popped me for getting out of my car in traffic. I wasn't as worried about the police as the driver packing heat and panicking.
It was interesting watching the...
You know what I hate? Rude drivers who tailgate when they can pass.
You know what rude drivers hate? When you get out of your car at a stop light, walk up to their window and tell them to back off.
