Depends on the amount of boost and turbo you are going to run. IIRC 550's max out around 400 hp or so. Also remember to upgrade your fuel pump, and pick your self up some sort of piggy back at the same time.
Have you looked at 3000gt VR4? twin turbo V6, 270 hp'ish, 6-speed, AWD, Plus book on a 97' is around $11k so you have a extra 3k for mods, lol.

A 89 With a pre 89 front bumper, nose and spoiler swap? Better check out the vin and make sure it isnt a 87-88 with 89+ tails and mirrors. Never the less it look pretty straight and targa FTW.
If you can pick it up cheap, go for it. Shit if it was close to me I would pick it up, and the steering wheel was on the correct side .
Im voting it is a broken wire in the engine harness somewhere. Just start ohming from the TCCS to the wire end. If there were playing with the CPS do...
I have used them in the past with great success. For them (the injectors) to plug into our harness (7mGTE) you have to grind or cut off the small plastic alignment tab on injector where the harenss plugs into. It takes less than 10 sec. to cut it off. After that they are plug n' play.
Then call it a distributor not a "dizzy", lol. I was also lost at first, but figured that was what he was talking about. Dizzy goes roung and a round. ok sorry for the hijack, back to pics.

His car is out from under the snow pile (the warmer temps out helped out)and his new turbo is installed as of friday.
