Hey so I was really hoping to have my car going by this weekend but I am not sure if this is likely. The inlet to the pump is like a 18x1.5 straight thread and I can't figure anywhere to buy a fitting, I made one that adapted that into a 3/8npt but the fitting kinda broke:nono:. I am using -8...
the motor I used was a brushless motor so it bassically had no rotating resistance so if you touched the throttle w/o any load on it it would wind up like a siren. Did that once by accident and it took almost 10 minutes to stop
coming along nicely. I'd recommend going with the lexus afm, 550's, and a piggyback right off the bat. If you plan on running that turbo without some kind of fuel controller, fuel cut will be fun.
BTW what offset are those wheels?
well you basically already answered all of your questions already. Take your wheels down to a local tire store and have them balanced.
For the suspension, the reason the first few weeks were ok was because the bump stops weren't destroyed yet, but driving on rough roads with supper low springs...
I did it into a rx7 before. I used a 11" 120v dc motor through the stock tranny and had to use fifteen 9v batteries to power it. Gave me a range of 60 miles or so.
From my experience it is only worth it if you are going to use lithium ion batteries because anything else is too heavy. If you...
you guys have kinda gotten off topic, The whole question was wether or not it is safe to spray the water, meth straight into the turbo inlet, not your mixture ratio.
I said earlier the only problem I saw by doing this is that the mixture might condense out of the air in the intercooler, Do you...
Most of the links you posted were from diesels, I really would see no harm in doing this as long as you didn't use an intercooler. I see the intercooler acting as a condenser and causing the meth to separate from the air.
IMO the walbro is a good pump but what you might look into is a surge tank fed by a walbro in the tank and then put a bosch 044 to make the pressure. Walbros are good at flowing a lot but not so good at making pressure.
The local tuners around here look down on the walblows as they call them:nono:
