Yes, the brake also helps to load the turbo before the logging session begins, I've seen quite a few supras done this way...

^^ARP spec with moly lube is 80 ft/lbs on studs. What hardware are you speaking about when wanting to torque to 70 ft/lbs?

Depends on your altitude, you should be fine with those measurements.

I can hear my turbo spinning at idle, but it doesn't make the sound that you are describing. Shaft play is how much the compressor wheel of the turbo moves. It needs to be very tight, like if you grabbed it and tried wiggling it gently, it should budge at all. If it will hit the sides of the...

Check the shaft play of the turbo, side to side, in and out. 21-24 hg/in vacuum is about normal.

The supra is without it's Depends, it's going to start pissing it's pants soon when it gets too hot ;).
