hi im new and i like to party haha

If you're selling 3 decent cars to afford a Mkiii, you're gonna be purchasing a pretty damn nice one with all that money. I'd go for a modded 89+ body style with a JZ series engine swap if I had that kind of cash. How much do you think you'll be gettin out of all those cars?

What causes valve buckets to not slide onto the valves freely?

I haven't touched the bores except for to clean em with a rag as far as I know. So I'm guessing something went wrong with my head somewhere between the teardown, machine shop, and my house, and I now need a new head. My friend that's hopefully coming over today has an n/a head, so I'll probably...

What causes valve buckets to not slide onto the valves freely?

I coated em in oil like you're supposed to, and it doesn't make a difference at all.

What causes valve buckets to not slide onto the valves freely?

Uhhh... I know they have to be straight on the springs. With clearances that tight, they won't just glide in there loosely with room to spare. When I took the head off and flipped it upside down, all the buckets came out smoothly. Now, after reinstalling the valves using the "secret weapon"...

I meant 3 lbs off the gauge as in 3 lbs above 8 lbs, the highest reading the stock gauge has. I thought I cleared that up in a previous post, but apparently you didn't get it.

What causes valve buckets to not slide onto the valves freely?

Only two of the buckets I've installed so far have slid onto my valves freely. One other one went on with a minimal amount of very light tapping, but I took it out because I know that's not what it's supposed to be like. What causes this? When I took the head off, they all slid out perfectly...

Finally got the new rims -PICS-

I'm gonna need to get an extra 1000 dollars or so together and grab a Nikon then. Holy shit... I'm still speechless about the quality. Not to say the camera makes your car better lookin than it really is, of course, but still.:biglaugh:

Your car's incredible. What kind of camera did you take this with? Cause damn, those are pretty amazing quality pictures. The second one looks magazine worthy for sure.

    boost cut

Well my stock gauge only goes to 8, so 3 lbs above the stock gauge, which I interpreted "off the gauge" as, would be around 11-12 lbs, would it not? I won't lie to you, I don't really know what specifically causes fuel cut. I've just read around here what multiple somewhat-knowledgeable people...

    boost cut

"Fuel Shutoff 11.4-13.7psi" So SOGI and Toyota are wrong then, I guess. I just googled it and searched here, and people have said anywhere in between 12-14 psi.
