How can you order S2 Supra Bodykits???

It looks like that kit uses a custom front lens... ...the exact same front lens, it seems, that they've stopped selling.

A $2000 piece of trash... you wound me. My '91 only cost me $1300 from the dealer...

    Tanabe Supra Medallion racing Exhaust

Just remember that if you saw the vid on 7MPower, then it was mounted on a turbo car, guaranteed. NAs are since we don't have a turbine in our exhaust to kill a lot of the noise. << I don't recommend a 3-inch exhaust either, for the sake of your low-end torque.. but that's your call and not mine.

    Drift report

Wikipedia itself may not be credible, but the sources that article cites ought to be.

Somehow, I think I smell not just one, but TWO 2JZ swaps in your future... knowing you, and all.

This feels like "The Price is Right: SM Edition" or something. I'm gonna have to say $2k, Bob!

smoking? burning oil? only some times? whats the deal in this situation

Hm. I could have sworn that blue smoke was a sign of oil in the combustion chamber and that oil leaking in the turbos made black/grey smoke.

    Washer Jets

Not to threadjack, but is there info somewhere on how to remove the damn things in the first place? I've never really been able to get as good a look at 'em as I'd like and I want to have some clue what I'm doing before I try taking them off to clean/replace. I'd rather not end up breaking...

Indiana Noob here.. With a Poll :D

Actually, SupraDupra, it's the stock HG torque that blows HGs, not the 7m or the bolts. Stock torque is only 52 lbs. Recommended torque is higher, around 72-75. Most people just use ARP bolts instead of the OEMs because that kind of torque reading is on the upper end of what the Toyota bolts can...

    Quieter Please

Not to threadjack (although it's still on topic), but are either of those still quiet on an NA?

    Need help identifying this

If you do that, you might as well remove it and save some weight/gain some space. As long as it's working properly I can personally see no reason to disable/remove the ABS. Insurance companies like it, and it's always good to have things like that in a pinch.

Project Cherry Widebody, finished! (New pics on post #451 and #511)

My only concern is... ...with tires that wide in front, those pics make it look like there's going to be some insane rubbing when you turn the wheel more than... well, at all.

Indiana Noob here.. With a Poll :D

Something to consider: If you decide to go 1JZ, just skip it and go 2JZ. It's a 3 liter instead of a 2.5 like the 1JZ, the block handles more power, and parts are much more readily available. After all, the 1JZ-GTE never came stateside whereas the 2JZ-GTE is commonly found in the MkIV Supra...

    Quieter Please

Quiet mufflers are more restrictive, too. If he really has a turbo, I can't see that being a wonderful prospect. Especially a muffler designed for an NA's much lower exhaust flow. A resonator should help quiet it down too, if you don't want to add restriction to your exhaust. Also, a better...

Indiana Noob here.. With a Poll :D

If you're going to have a shop do the work for you, I can see the cost of the rebuild increasing significantly. In fact, if you have a shop do all your work I can see the cost of owning the car rising significantly. Anyway, it's up to you. A couple things to consider, though. Make sure it's a...

Why you can have a nice car in CA

Totaled the A-duct, too. From the looks of it, anyway. People seriously shouldn't drive huge trucks if they can't actually drive them.

    World's Fastest Grand-pa car!

They call them less likely to be cop bait, too. Plus the fact that you can fit more people in the car (women included).

    What happened?

I've got a little looped handle that I used to burn myself getting at (until I got gloves), too. It's bright orange/red and it's on the driver's side of the car kinda below-ish the intake manifold. It's got this stupid little locking clip to hold it in place, too. That, however, is not the oil...
