toyota has a idle switch (IDL) witch is the 4th wire. It lets the TCCS know when the throttle body is 100% closed and to go into idle mode. Hint code 51 on the CEL when running OEM TCCS ;)

$50 + trip to toyota = No more hatch squeak and happy driver.
I was a little sticked shocked that is was $50 for 6 pieces of rubber but well wort it for not having the hatch squeak all the time.
Remove the oil pan and check what crank is in it. You are going to remove the oil pan any ways to replace the oil pump and reseal the pan so it dosen't leak correct ;)
Well today I swapped in the steering wheel from the 91 Im parting into the 89. I like the updated look plus the I can read the CC buttons. I knew what they did but it is nice having lettering on it, lol. But now with the heavier(air bag) wheel the memory tilt spring dosen't hold up the wheel...
I looked at the 90 and it was the same color wires as the 89 :(
Any way via trial and error I found out
89 cc.......... = .......... 91 cc
Red............. = White/black
Black/white...= white
Green...........= red
Horn on 89 is Blue wire and 91 is black if any one wants to know...
Any one know know what wires do what on the switch. Im trying to fit the 91 wheel on my 89. The only problem toyota switch wire colors on the CC switch :cry:
On the 89 there is red, green, black/white wires ( I only have a 89 TSRM)
on the 91 wheel there is red, white and white/black wires.
