^as someone who was very close to going T-4 I can tell you this bolt on is a fantastic route to go GIVEN it is reliable.
Looking through your mods you don't want or need anymore power than this turbo can offer.
T-4 can seem cheap but once you buy everything from the turbo, mani, WG, intake...

Thanks for the link, seems a bit over complicated considering i ran one wire on my last car and was fine. I guess my question now should be which is my car? the pre-89 or the ones in the links??
edit: After the 5th time of a wrong code it will lock you out. If that occurs the manual says you have to take it to the dealer and they can cancel this out and reset the code.
I have an 89 with pre89 mounts (square). So I believe the chassis wiring is the same as pre89 so the schematic below may or may not be entirely accurate.
I am rewiring the fog lights to turn on with the dash lights (w/o the headlights on) but so the button still functions. I have a 1988 TSRM...

Yes you were right but it being water cooled or not is not the point of this thread. Most people here including myself are looking for reassurance more than anything based on first hand...
oil or water AND oil cooled, not a big deal....The stock water lines are easily bypassed. Not to mention cooling shouldn't be an issue with today's synthetic oils
