could be the start of rod knock. has the motor been rebuilt? how many miles? is it modded? or it could be the tranny if it ONLY happens in 1st gear. the more info u can give us the more help we can give you.

i didnt see the comment about the white w/ blue pearl. to get that effect the base/clear will have to be used. so ya toy is about on point will all those figures. it will also take a more experienced painter to get the correct effect spraying what should be a 3 stage paint.

i painted my car with sherwin williams single stage graphite grey pearl (1c6) found on lexus'. its got massive amounts of metallic flake, and it came out pretty damn good. i didnt spend any more than $400 on EVERYTHING including the spray gun. and i still have a quart leftover. this was also...

bahahaha, just find a sherwin williams auto, and get a gallon of single stage. it'll save money, and with todays paint it'll last just as long if you take care of it. and you should be able to do everything for under $300

lucky for you MA no longer does emissions testing on all pre OBDII cars (95+ older) so you should have no problem just about anywhere.

welcome to the obsession, just a fyi 86.5-88 and 89-92 have slight differences in the body. mainly front bumper, mirrors, tails, and steering wheel. you can never read too much and good luck on finding your 1st supra!

this is why you never volunteer information. out of all 7 stickers i've gotten, the inspector has only done what he was supossed to once. all the other times he just checked the lights and horn and i was on my way. :) smaller independent gas stations are usually the most lenient.

u could prolly sell the harnesses individually, doubt somone needs all the wiring in the car.

its probably a fuse, check the fuse block at the drivers side kickpanel.

you dont have to pull the whole stering column, 2 17mm bolts underneath and it drops the column down, u should be able to get what u need from there.

you cant mix 89 wiring with any other year, it MIGHT be possible but its not really worth the effort. i just tried putting an 87 dash harness in my 89 now the ECU doesnt get power.
