Well Ric,I owe you a Pepsi,turns out that the brake light fuse was on the verge of blowing. Weird thing is that I still had tail lights. I guess the elc system didd'nt have enough of a fault to show up on the LFM on the dash. I replaced the fuse,and sure as shit stinks,the shift lock mechanism...
