    To those with Driveshaft Shop AL driveshafts

    I just installed a JAWS aluminum shaft, perfect fit and comes balanced (unlike the DSS, at least their's is not claimed to arrive balanced). When i recheck the bolts at the differential tomorrow, i'll take some pics of it and post them.

    i had a very similar issue, but it was a boost leak. i hade a loose coupler that would allow a pipe to separate under boost, but it would run ok in vaccum (the fit was tight enough to keep the pipe semi-seated). just a thought...

    hey dooood- all driveshafts built by the driveshaft shop are on B.O. -- material issue (as of this last week and this week, hence the reason i don't have one of those either). ordered one made by jaws monday and arrived today... very nice piece of work btw.

    OEM Brembo's

    FYI - Supra OEM disks are 'throw away' from the factory; meaning that they are at the book minimum thickness when new, not leaving enough meat to allow machining. I guess that is a good excuse to buy slotted disks... btw- running TRD pads on OE style disks, nice improvement over stock.

    Rear sumping a 5.0 is not a big deal. I know off-hand that Milodon(sp) makes a rear only sump pan (7qt). These are used by guys that swap 302s into their Z's. I have never done a fitment mock-up, just adding that their are rear sump options...
