Wait a second unless I totally miss my understanding here there is no point at which the engine will have all the valves sealed up and allow the intake mani to be pressurized. And a valve leak isn't the same as a boost leak either I don't think. I don't think you can boost leak test your intake...
Damn I lean towards the turbonetics personally even though your saying the garret has the vaband flange, which is oh so nice for mounting and aligning. But finding a mani that is vband is much more challenging
Perhaps it's different with the Fluidyne rad but with my Koyo rad I had to get a totally different cap. I found the cap of a GE fit it but not the cap off my GTE. Ended up buying a brand new one anyways, but make sure the one you get will fit.
First two pics are my motor back in 97, I bought mine in 1990.
Current pic of it in the back alley behind my house.
Older picture of it in my old garage.
Damned shame to see it happen, but also good too see the car held up well and let him live for another day. Must have hit her hard though from the looks of it, without a doubt.
Hey man, seriously don't let my critical attitude towards them throw you off here. Seriously, as I said it may be a great product. But I strongly dislike the way of presenting it when compared to other and their constant misinformation they spread. It may be a great or good product. I seriously...

Here's some old photos I found of my engine waaaaay back in 1997 that I found interesting, I hardly remember it like this any more.
And Here's a more up to date shot of it from day before yesterday in my back alley.
The only way you could retian tract control is if you got the traction control CPU as well as the ECU with your motor. Oh wait then you would also have to somehow transfer the independant rear wheel speed sensors and front too, as our cars use a single channel for the rear antilocks that is not...
Are you talking about the intercooler itself or the IC piping kit? The piping kit is really good value in my opinion. You get a great selection of pipes, rubber joiners, and good quality clamps.
I have H&R's on my car and have had them on for almost 10 years. I love em, but I have mine on adjustable Bilstien's. I'll post up a pic for ya in a bit here.
