sean, although you are talking about powerband.. believe me your first gear will suck.. .the fact that you have to rev the piss out of it to go anywhere blows.
you may want to consider a 4:30 gear to get you moving in to the powerband off boost faster.
nice sean, look foward to seeing what it can do... friend of mine here has been running a gt42 for like 1.5 year now... He's never dynoed though but it's made some stupid power... was neck and neck with me when i was running 20PSI on my twin k26's on my 1j.... that puts him at about 480-490 WHP...
200-500 RPM is huge... because when they say 2-500 RPM they are usually saying in 4th gear.
Remember, you it takes you 5000 RPM to get full boost in 1st then you won't get it till 5500 which is a huge diffrence.
Boost, IMO you can't knock it until you try it... once you have then you'll know.
ITS BB CHRA's are rebulidable...
I bought a DDB ITS 67MM
Check the SF under BL section there was a good review of the two... The BB version was 400-500 RPM faster everywhere... which is huge as it gave more then 50-60 RWTQ at 4500 over the non ball bearing version.

IMO the 7m IS MOST FUN with a SMALL turbo upgrade. IE upgraded ct26 or bolt on 61.
TQ is where it's at with the 7m, and when you push the spool up too far to the right of the dyno graph the car just isn't fun. Espeically since it's SUCH a hard task to get the car to rev.

sounds like you could have a bad throw out bearing .... Maybe you need to adjust the clutch for the hard shifts. could not be fully disengaging.
you can't just tune a car with out a wb well you can try and guess but thats all you are doing guessing...

damn my harness looks so fat... expeically the little harness above which houses all my stereo wires....
How did you keep your harnesses so thin? I used shrink wrap on each solder join (maybe thats why I havne't ever had wiring issues)
yes i'm going to run my 2jz on my 1jz sard ecu at first then switch in the AEM with the jumper hanress probably... Donno if I find i like the power and the spool of my 67 on my sard/emanage blue setup i may just leave it becuase I really don't want to rev the 2jz higher then the 7800 RPM...
