ohh i didn't know that, but the reason that may have started leaking is because of the added pressure in the system from the exhaust gasses and the coolant getting burned off allowing the coolant to boil, or they were leaking and you didn't know which from the loss of coolant let your engine...

id say thats a bhg then fixing the clamps surely will not help the fact that coolant is in a hose that is supposed to just have oil in it plus the milkshake under the oil cap and exhaust gases coming from the radiator, i would say a bhg is most definite even if its a rare thing for a 1j

i would also like to know the answer to this, i used arp studs torqued to 80 ft/lbs by what the instructions in the arp box said and a hks stopper metal hg when i do the 5 heat cycles do you loosen them? or just torque back to 80 ft/lbs? how long should you wait if the engine is fully...
