    i'll be starting fresh, hot tanked block and cleaned head new aluminum rad and water pump i was either going to go with the toyota red and mix it or just take the slightly more lazy way and get the toyota pink but where might i be able to pick this up? (either order it online or maybe local)...

    the machine shop that did the hot tanking and all the machine work replaced mine, looked like they did a good job but im not sure what kind they used but they are nice and shiny lol

    yes it is, i couldn't find anything on the pink at first by searching but i found some threads talking about the red where the pink was brought up

    i had to order one of those little football shaped gaskets while there i asked how much the toyota red coolant was and the parts guy said which one the red or pink? i said red but then i said well wait whats the pink coolant? the parts guy told me its long life any real difference in the two...

    mine took kind of long too, all that was done to the block itself was hot tanking new freeze plugs bore .020 over and machine the block surface and the first time they forgot to machine the rear timing case at the same time as the block surface but at least they had the tensioner torqued when...

    im some what considering do a n/a ps reservoir i can get the ps reservoir itself and the lines but isn't there a vacuum hose that goes to the accordion hose? i can probably just replace that with some silicon hose right? if anyone has any pictures of the n/a ps res on a turbo car, link please

    no if using toyota head bolts 72ft/lbs if using arp studs you can go as high as 90ft/lbs using moly lube but only follow what the instructions tell you there are older and newer versions quoted from jdub
