i would say do it anyway i did a stock rebuild the pistons are .020 over my crank did not need to have any material removed not having your rotating assembly balanced during a buildup is equivalent to not having your front end aligned after you spent $1000 on tires.

didn't hks make one for the ct26? (maybe it was for that hks turbo that had the same bolt pattern as the ct26) but for the hk$ price and the slight gain you got it wasn't even worth it

i overlooked this since i got the hks stopper gasket but when i check mine there didn't seem to be interference not saying that there wont be a problem with yours the one i got had 3 large rivets towards the center and 2 other kind of rivets if rivets at all, there didn't seem to be anything...

not a bad deal if you are really getting them for the tires and are getting the rims almost for free, but i don't really like how the spokes on those rims are set up, they kind of remind me of the stock rims on a 1.8t

some more progress, turbo is now bolted up, vacuum lines being done (using silicone) i needed another one of those football shaped gaskets and for some reason i didn't have the brace that helps support the turbo but im getting one is that my car under there!?:aigo: haha nah its a 1j clip
