besides, that flex section looks like it would hit the underside of the car or the DP would hang rather low, as there is not a lot of clearance between the DP and the car anyway when its tucked up.
on a serious note, there are civil lawyers that 'donate' their time and advice to situations where individuals do not have the $$ to hire for council. While they will not go to court with you, they could give you some sound advice.
While I don't know exactly where to look for you situation, I...
personally, unless you have seen this person's work at that price range (and are satisfied with their work) I would wait. $2500 is a lot to spend for something your not 1000% happy with (imo). Then it feels like a waste of both time and money. also, by shooting the car in late spring (if you...
Paint is something where you always get what you pay for (unless their crooked and sloppy, but that goes w/o saying).
$2300 for an amazing job (even doing the dis/reassembly) is not a bad price at all. Great (quality) paint today will continue to look good many years down the road (given that...
IMO - if you are going to go the distance and spend the money, do it right (base+ clear) once. having a car painted is a PITA (the tear down, putting it back together, etc...
Talk to the person/ shop you are going to have paint it. You can usually save a little cash by:
pulling all the door...
1. check codes
2. check o2 sensor
when using the cruise, the ecu reads o2 feedback for mixture adjustment (open loop).
btw- has your mileage changed at all since this started happening? I had the exact same prob a while back, pulled codes, did a diag test on the o2 sensor (it failed)...
my 17x8s (w/ 245/45) are 35 offset. to maintain that ratio (which i think is perfect flush, no rolling required) then the offest will continue to get deeper as wheel width increases. I don't have time right now to fully describe it, but offset is mearly a ratio between the inside and outside...
yep- they cheaper the cat, the less active metal substrate they use. If you are going to do it, spend the money once and get a cat that will last more than 6 months...
btw have you ever looked at the cost of a new cat (OE - any manufacture)? Its whats inside that counts (and why they are so...
Just get a random tech cat (3" bolt in) and be done with it. besides, with a gutted cat or 'fake' the exhaust will still stink of HC and any cop with a half-way functioning brain will be able to figure out that you don't have the real thing. Just feel lucky that you didn't nailed with the EPA...
I picked up Koni's from HPF last month when they were on special (360 for the set IIRC). I was actually going to use bilstiens until I put a set of Koni's on my GF's 3G, they were both smooth and stiff at the same time. I picked up a set of Koni's and Tanabe springs - much smoother ride than...
Greg-
Where did you see the alum dual core CSF for ~$200? The cheapest I have seen it is $315 - just wanted to make sure the CSF rad you are talking about is the same one that I am thinking about...
Thanks
Thanks-
They are Volk AV3's. Classic jap car look IMO.
First ride indicates its going to be a sweet set-up. smooth and firm at the same time. We'll see if i feel the same later on today.
