That's how I did it but not lifting the front end. I thought maybe there was another way of bleeding it (literally) besides lock to lock.

No vibes just winding from the pump (comes and go) but I believe I can hear it more at incline. Ball joints were all replace also.

The winding noise comes and goes but what I notice though that when it's cold you can feel the binding and when the engine start to get hot it gets easy. You would think it’s the other way around if the system indeed need of oil cooler. I just had the rack replaced also but due to that...

High winding pitch.....Bad pump. I'm also in search of knowledge regarding weather the pump for 1jz is the same as the one in 2jz. Tried replacing the oil if it gets better but no luck. Is it wise to use transmission oil for the p/steering? Just wondering if that’s what causes mine to fail...
