alternator is fine, unfortunately, i took it to pep boys to get checked. I have a hunch it might be a bad ground to the alternator so i might check that out.
It took me long as hell just to figure out these plugs according to af1jz's helpful thread about wiring the soarer 1jz into the ma70. And I know that other people are having the same troubles. So I took it upon myself to take pictures of the plugs for future reference to help people.

my car idled high when i was running the exhaust straight out of the turbo's, when i put my exhaust on, it was fine, might be because i double checked the vacuum lines at the same time, but i've heard of similar conditions from that.

i have a similar problem with my starter. the relay clicks. i just got my car back from the shop and they didnt fix it but they narrowed it down to either the ecu or my alarm system. They said that there is juice going to the starter but once you try to start it, something tells it not to.
does anyone know where i can find the driver side coolant hose that goes to the heater core? i've tried searching and looking for photo's and no luck.
Also, b2 plug, WHERE IS IT? i have everything wired except for that and it's killing me. For 88 models are the colors of the wires different...
i have the same starter problem and i will be checking it out tomorrow, my theory is that the starter wire from the 1jz has a male spade connector and the starter has a male as well, i dont have much light under the car so i couldnt tell for sure but i will be connecting the 2 with other means...
