I don't have much experience getting into the tight areas but I thought i'd show you this incase it helps.
I did a write up on celicasupra.com on how to refinish p-type wheels.

new gaskets with some FIPG and the stainless screws will do the trick. make sure the bolts are torqued evenly so you won't have leaks in the near future (makes sure the valve cover stays flush to the head)
a stock headgasket torqued to 73 ft/lbs will be just fine for an N/A car, and much more forgiving. the blocks are rarely warped and can be checked with a machinist's straight edge. I'd say take the head off and have a machine shop inspect it. If it's warped, have them straighten it in an oven as...
now we're talking! that beast is down in the weeds where it belongs now! should look awesome with all the body panels on it. I love that you took off all the body panels to be painted, you get extra corner coverage that way. When I did my bumpers I did the same thing, definitely worth the extra...
definitely need to get a quality wideband on that car, don't want to be rebuilding the engine again soon. simply turning down fuel pressure until you make the most power is a great way to melt some ringlands
fantastic! my build entails porting and polishing and camshafts aswell. I am shooting for 200whp and this shows my goals are very attainable. I'll I've seen as far as graphs are piss-poor 200,000mile 155whp dynos. This truely does lift my spirits. congratulations on the great results! thanks for...
I am not a fan of solid mounts either. what is your main goal with it? are you trying to prevent the motor from ripping the engine mounts/the prevent turbo from contacting the shock tower? (this is an issue with high power turbo mk2s with large turbos on a stock manifold.
fantastic! looks like your friend runs a good shop, to get it all perfect first try like that.
your prep work must have been great! any flaws would have shown through for sure. nice work on moulding of the side skirts, that front bumper will look like it belongs now. Trust me when I say I feel...
if you can't afford a dyno, hit the track for $10 and get us some MPH numbers! it sounds like a great modification. Although, I think I want some camshafts installed first :evil2:
WOW! excellent work, you have great taste! everything looks so well thought out. I'm not a fan of everything being hidden, but I am a fan of cleanliness, shiny parts and a well thought out colour scheme.
it doesn't look like a bolt was ignored. great work.
CRE, would you go map sensor from the get-go if you had the option to do it again?
most of the complaints I see regarding the maft-pro is tuning it can be confusing. from my understanding, you've figured it out for the most part and can say that the 7mge ecu responds well to it, similar to...
looking good jamie! The new rims remove the "toy car" out of the mk3 and make it look great. The sharp lines on the wheels match the car.
wicked place to take pics! you'll have to show me where it is!
metal headgasket with machine work, ARP's, divorced downpipe wit full 3" exhaust that is mandrel bent, intake and crank the boost up to 12psi or so. make sure the brakes and suspension are in good working order and the rest of the car is top notch. more than that is in leaps and bounds (and lots...
