valves: 270

valve job, adjustment: 350
valve stem seals (don't remember)
misc shims: $25
My head was in pretty good shape so it didn't need a lot of work (guides were within spec) and I already had ferrea springs/retainers that were all ok. I also had him heli-coil all the exhaust...

I understand completely. But on the other hand, the smart ones will know to search not ask (I'm sure a locked and alarmed supra won't be their first score - a bit more complicated that any other car without an alarm - locked or not). Call me a little paranoid, but with as many cars have...
I ran Ford Contour dual fans and a SPAL PWM controller (varies fan speed based on temp - can control 1 or 2 fans). Was a good combo with the stock rad - but its a bit too thick with a Koyo. still debating what to use there.
But for a fan controller, look into the SPAL. its ~$75 from speedway...
That's cool.
I personally don't think that bilstien's sleeves are a 'cheap' alternative (ever seen IJ's Koni set-up?). If I ever get tired of my Koni's, that is the direction I will be going. The benefit to the bilstiens is they are easy (and cheap) to have properly valved for your...

I've had a few set-ups (on this car and others) and here is what I can say:
KYB anything: sucks balls. These are cheap gas shocks that worthy of a buick, not a sports car. They are inconsistent (shock to shock) and go soft when driven hard. If you are on a budget, save your money.
Eibach...
agreed Pete. I just thought it was funny how we were on opposite ends of the spectrum about the same products. Just re-enforces the need for the video section (or just adding to 935's sound clip page).
On another note, I think the 'other' forum actually has something similar (for these same...
I was just looking at PS site and just in reading their descriptions, they mention white for day, color for night. Do you have the dimmer wired up wrong - so the blue (dim) color is 'on' all the time? Don't recall if that was covered or not (didn't feel like re-reading the entire thread again).
Its funny, but I'm on the exact opposite side of the fence. My car had a 40 series flowmaster on it when I bought it - it was the worst sounding muffler I think I have ever heard - raspy, tinny, just sucked(know a ton of people that have them on small blocks - but w/o enough horsepower they...
