No problem;), cps wires can be a pain, I rewired mine on both sides with new plugs so I would never have to worry. Oh and if you were wondering it will run without the red one, and even sound cool like a subaru!!!:sarcasm:
There are a few types of coolant out there, I'm sure there is something near identical to red for much less. That being said nothing but red here, lost my first head because of green. To date I have never actually seen anything giving the specs on toyota red though? Somebody has to know? paging...
IIRC the harbor freight gun is made by eastwood. If your looking for a nicer gun later on down the road check out caswell. You going to have to spend a few hundred more but it has adjustable kv settings like the much more expensive guns so you can do multiple coats.
The CT-26 67 upgrade is a eBay scam. Even if you had all the work done it would self destruct. I think there was a thread a long time ago, someone told the seller it would never work and he kept saying oh well Ill give it to you for this price, he eventually got down to around half what he was...
Here we go again
sure you dont just like correcting people Ian :sarcasm:
CFX made 2'' raised cowl hoods in carbon fiber for a while, youll see them pop up every onec in a blue moon. But the price is right up there with the quality. Iv seen fiberglass versions around too.
You really should consider tieing the two ends of that bumper support back together. You could do it with some light weight tubing and keep the airflow, and some of the weight you lost while still makng it rigid. The car needs the two front frame rails tied together to keep them parallel...
When I said a few had catastrophic failure I meant the compressor wheels basically exploded. So just be careful is all I meant, if the turbo doesn't matter go for it but catastrophic= shrapnel going through your intake.
as for the pulley
Its not the balancing that is a problem, you can...
The "Crank Pulley", the stock one is more than just a pulley, its fully balanced and dampened to absorb the harmonic tones produced by the crankshaft at certain RPMs. Without it the resonance is transferred to the bearings and will trash them. You aluminum one is just a pulley, not a damper.
Well generally every tune is going to be a little different and there is no one setup. I would just drive a block while logging, stop adjust do it again unil correct. Start with very low load and just work your way up. This is how everyone has to go about a street tune. Time consuming but at...
I'v been there, first hard run after putting my temp motor in. The line popped off, hit like a freight train, broke the tires loose like it was nothing and I let off. I was thinking  for a near internally stock motor. Then I went again and wound up at a rodeo and knew right away what...
I really wouldnt recomend pushing the stock ct that hard. Not only will you be forcing it to spin excessively fast and asking for something to go wrong, but at 18psi your way out of its efficiency range. All your going to be doing is forcing hot air into your engine and cutting the life of the...
Subscribed! I cant say I like the gold, or the two silver stripes you had going but I dig the red, silver, white scheme. Looks like a true track car, reminds me of the original group As
Changing my vote to BC, its about twice the drive as seattle or portland for me but definately the coolest city. Seattle is ok but I think everyones been there enough times.
The stock injectors deserve more credit than most people give them. I would deffinately get them cleaned and flowed though. They will be fine under 14 or so psi, most just feel safer replacing them or just go with the general concensus that you have too.
Hey duane ran them on 20 psi and that...
