Did some work this weekend. Most of it was helping my brother with his car. Last summer someone backed into his car in a parking lot, big old ford F350 claimed it wasnt his fault, and with no other witnesses we were SOL.
Heres what it looked like right after it happened.
Heres what it...
Very nice work, Iv wanted to do something very similar for a long time but I hate to give up the option to drop the rear seats. (For golf clubs mostly):D
I'll be taking 90 all the way over, you guys going to come up at Ellensburg or taking 12 over? We should have a small convoy, me and my bothers cars along with Blake in his 7M swapped pickup and Luis in the classic 80's pathfinder! If you guys wanted to meet at Ellensburg that would be cool. If...
Just try not to blow anything up until after I get to see it this time:icon_bigg
On another note the weather is finally nice enough, the gravel has finally been swept off the road. She's coming out for tuning this weekend!
3.73s here, I love em just wondering if it would be a bit much. I know someone who went from 4:10s to 3:73 in a 7M mkII and got worse mileage from downshifting all the time:dunno: I get better mileage than my 87 did with 91s but im still in for test results
Im interested pending testing. My only worry would be 2350 being too low and wanting to bog and actually decreasing mileage. What rear end does jeff have? Would you be doing a few lengthy cruises for mileage testing and then again after the swap?
Thanks again John for the continuous innovation...
Unless your planning on moving very soon and or multiple times I would recommend just going with a two post. They bolt in with anchor bolts, moving them is as only much work as putting them up in the first place. Unbolt and drive the anchor bolts in flush and haul it away and your done.
Ya, I'v been slackin. I should have regular updates for a while, I have alot of little unrealated project on the car right not I just have to take some picks.
I just realized I havent updated this in 8 months. I havent lost momentum or stopped progress, just slowed a bit and started slacking on the pictures. I have my motor completly tore down and waiting to be taken to the machinist this summer. I also picked up a maft pro with all the needed acc...
Mine wouldnt open one day, my cable actually came unhooked from the clip on the latch. I had to remove the whole panel to put it back together but all in all it only took an hour or so. Its worked like a charm ever since, so if the pull has gotten any lighter since it quit working you could...
So these arent the same as the factory plugs? I was hoping the 4 pin was identical to the factory cps and coil pack plugs. So does Sumitoto still make the plugs from our harness at all, or just similar ones?
