Coolant passage coming out of the head below the intake runners.

I have read other threads about coolant leaks "in" the throttle body (corroded thru), and also in the ISC. Check these out thoroughly. Also, I by-passed my throttle body and capped the fittings on it. I just put a splice in the coolant hoses, to keep it flowing.

    Horn Wont Work

Use the TSRM electrical diagram and find the wiring to the horn relay. Then jump the relay (I believe you will ground it) to see if the circiuts work from there on. In other words, does the horn work with this proceedure?

    EGR plate

The EGR Cooler, on the back of the head. It is tough, but can be done in the car. It gets gunked up inside with soft carbon. The gasket might be had aftermarket for less $$. You could use some FIPG material instead. I believe this is what I used. Carquest...Part # G31482 EGR COOLER...

    Major headbolt issue

Yep...that's what I'd do. Carefully drill the head of the fastener off. Start by using a sharp punch to center the hole, then using a 1/8" bit, go down into the shank a ways, then opening it up with a 3/16" bit, then a 1/4", and so on, till it pops off.then lift cylinder head off. Been...

    heater problem

Ok....this is all fact ! Just hook the vacuum hose straight to the heater water valve to get hot water to the core. If the valve does not work with vacuum, you will need a new valve, or just by-pass it with a hose splice connector. The valve is normally ONLY closed (no water flowing) when...

    Leaking from tranny...?

That plate is called an 'inspection cover'. Oil that leaks from the tranny, or rear engine seal is supposed to drip out of the tiny hole there. Imagine if you sealed that plate up. Oil would build up in there, and start soaking your clutch. Imagine that !:aigo:

    Sudden drop in vacuum pressure

Does the car run good? Yes. Then any vacuum leak is not large. If the heater operation is faulty, and engine runs good, then it must be heater control related.

    remove air from heater

All the 'burping' in the world won't get rid of the heater core air air if you have a tiny BHG. Been there, done that.:icon_evil Now that my BHG has been repaired for 1 1/2 yrs, when ever I have the coolant out and refill, I don't have the gurgle sound for more than a few days. Here is...

    Exhaust Question, been bugging me

Just do the whole thing right, cat-back at least. When I got my N/A car, the exhaust was a functioning 'butcher' job. From the original cat back, it started at 2.25", went about a foot, then dropped to 2". Inside the 'sporty' sounding 3-chambered muffler, it dropped down to 1 7/8". I...

    max stock tire size?

On the sawblades, 245/50/16's will be 1" taller (1/2" rim to road), and 1" wider (again 1/2" on each side), than stock 225/50/16. Been their, done that. Worked real nice for cornering. I don't believe in rotating tires, so the 245's on rear only worked. Went back to 225's, when I wore...
