The Hot Rod Power Tour, Supra Powered Maverick

I'm impressed. to be honest when you started I thought they'd only let you do a bare minimum of work to the car. I thought they'd let you pick the rims and give it a paint job...let you put a v8 in it. But this is a very indepth and high quality build you have done! This car should be a great...

    Faces to Names 3: It's Now Personal ;) |NEW PICS REQUIRED|

Training takes work. Most idiots are lazy. That's why they're idiots. Idiots don't train dogs. The term Idiot is synonymous with the term moron. Therefore your use of the word moron is correct. So my post doesn't get deleted, here's me at picture of me on my way to prom, 4 years ago.

    turquoise gear oil?

amsoil series 2000 synthetic gear lube was a pretty deep green. That's what it could be. But it looks unusually bright....maybe it's due to the camera flash? I used it in my tranny and diff....great stuff. It was their top of the line gear lube for many years. It's since been replaced by their...

AN Banjo fitting using Fuel Pulsation Dampener

update: I may be on to something. Looks like the honda guys got ahold of russel to make an adapter for their cars. It could be the ticket. I've sent an e-mail to russel asking for detailed specs. This is a kit that B and R fittings put together for them. looks familiar!

AN Banjo fitting using Fuel Pulsation Dampener

Hey guys, I was wondering if anybody has found a Banjo-style fitting that allows you to convert your fuel line to AN style braided line but retain the stock pulsation dampener. I've found the M14x1.5 thread info for the feed side. In fact, I have a diagram that was posted in SM outlining the...

    7m-ge exhaust

visually, 7MGE headers look identical to 5m headers. Raptor racing produces a 5mge header that nets a 10whp gain. Unfortunately I don't think it will fit a mk3 at all, or at least the "midpipe" section won't. Regardless, it gives a hint that at least a measurable gain is found with a header...

Ok, now Im a perv, and I hit 5 year olds... This is serious now...

good call going to the police and making them aware of the issue. Just incase something DOES happen it shows good responsibility and character you took the first step to the authorities. Anybody in law enforcement or the judicial system questioning you and the family will easily see he's the...

pcv hummmmmmmm exhuast or per turbo

it's my understanding the exhaust dump style pcv system is only effective with high volumes of gas. Since the system works strictly from the venturi effect and not direct vacuum, you need that exhaust volume to pull the gases out of the motor. Granted, this is will keep your intake tract...

    i just don't know anymore

open the TSRM or wiring supplement, grab your multimeter and trace the circuit from the battery all the way back to the fuel pump at every fuse, connector or relay. If that when you lose your voltage signal, you know the section between the good voltage and no voltage is your issue.

Discussion on the potential of the 7MGE

Rods almost always break during the exhaust stroke. Usually at the top of the stroke at high rpm when the mass of the piston and rod must be reversed in a very short amount of time. With no combustion pressure pushing on the piston to counteract this force, the rods must take 100% of the...

Discussion on the potential of the 7MGE

no problem! yeah from what I understand the car has had many resprays and many sponsors. It's got a LOT of track miles on it over the years! he mentioned he didn't like the white on race cars, so went with the orange scheme for the latest respray.

Discussion on the potential of the 7MGE

This is the car: It won the British Open Rally Championship Group ‘A’ category 1985. this is a post hinting at the engine work. he doesn't give full disclosure but it sounds like it has had some extensive prep work. http://forums.celicasupra.com/showpost.php?p=332190&postcount=12...
