waffles win. not eggo frozen, shit waffles, that taste like the fish you've had in your freezer for two years, proper waffles.
french toast is easy to screw up....in the end though, it usually turns to mush either by the bread getting nailed by the syrup or because you didn't cook it long...
lol! guys that have cars that came with superchargers put a pulley and exhaust on them, find out they can't make more power then spend great amounts of money converting their car to a turbo charged setup.
then there is the odd supra owner that has a turbo car that wants to super charge it...
instead of guessing, first thing to do is to get that car on jackstands and get that undertray off. buy some degreaser and clean up everything that's oil. let the car warm up and see where it's leaking. a leak that large shouldn't be difficult to locate.
That being said my money is on a turbo...
car looks pretty cool! not my cup of tea so to speak but it certainly does look aggressive. I'm just not one for stretched tires. The thing that does bother me though is that the car looks undrivable. how the heck do you go around corners without those tires rubbing?
congratulations! looks like you got some excellent pictures of out if too...love the first one. Now you're work has been immortalized, must feel great!
always been curious.....how do you go about detailing a car for a magazine shoot? did you hunker down for three days and do everything yourself...
car looks pretty solid! good luck with the project. I;ll be watching.
for the idle issue
- check for vacuum leaks
- ensure ISCV is operating properly (may need cleaning too)
- check throttle plate position, tps and linkages...somebody may have messed with them...
my bad on the other information. I got confused.
I still thought shelby had nothing to do with the actual design, just modifying them for scca racing. to say that shelby had a hand in designing of hte supra is a bit of a stretch. had something to do with motorsport racing of a vehicle that is...
as far as I know he did not actually design anything. it was a partnership between toyota and lotus since toyota owned a large portion of lotus at the time. They handed the car to shelby to race it because they were too slow. He mentioned the car trying to compete against the big v8s that the...
Hey Adam,
do you have a diagram or description on how you laid out your oil cooler system with the bypass setup?
Relocator adapter > amsoil setup > thermostat > cooler > thermostat > relocator adapter?
looks like the 13" cobra brakes to me. A good friend of mine just installed them on his mustang GT and they perform quite incredibly, especially with the hawk race pads he has. If these things work on a mk3 anything like his do on that blue oval...you guys are going to freak out.
look what...
sounds good. what are your air fuel ratio's like when the boost is "lost" you should see some result on a wideband at that point if your hypothesis is true...from the fresh charged air going out the exhaust.
no. start with the basics for a no start condition. there's a couple things needed to get the engine to run.
1) air - unless the timing belt is broken or skipped this should't be an issue. Even with a couple blown cylinders these things will still run
2) fuel - check and see if you are...
