automatic trannys are picky iv seen a perfectly good working tranny completely stop working just from a fluid change or flush! car or truck drove in the shop and wouldn't even move outta the bay after the change even unreliable (not all but most) shops like midas jiffylube and grease monkey...
Meant bsvs not iscv whoops. Have a field day guys lmao. Honest mistake predictive text I really don't give a shit who knows what, it's just the simple fact that if someone wants to run a setup on their car you guys don't approve of you don't support the idea. How about instead of say...
If you wanna try to attempt to bash someone get your info correct I simply asked if iscv could be bypassed and hooked straight to the throttle body seeing as the iscv is open after after it reaches 122 degrees and would be sucking in air from the charcoal canister constantly Anyways
well thanks for the links guys :)
quick question though for those who had followed that thread, do you guys know if those test were performed with block off plates or was the egr cool still on but the rest of the system removed???
i understand theres its been proved but I'm looking for actual numbers posted is all, everyone says it raises the egt's, but how much 50,100,300 thats just what I'm looking for is all. anyone can read a forum where someone else has said "it raises egt's" but iv searched for a site where...
the problem he's having is his cams don't have reliefs so you can get the socket in, it doesn't matter what size socket he uses, theres just not enough room
not really worried just curious, because iv always seen hondas and subarus with intercoolers the size of football fields and wondered why not many people with mk3's run big honking IC's
yeah that makes sense, are there any bigger intercooler kits other than the drift motion or HKS kits or would i be better off piecing together my own set up? how much bigger can you go on intercoolers in our mk3's
yeah I'm not even a fan of reusing a HG. in a sense its just cheap insurance to get a new HG, plus once you have the head resurfaced you may want a thicker HG due to the amount of material that has been removed off you head, unless you plan on running a higher compression set up
so does running the ffim setup allow for a bigger intercooler setup due to the ease of pipe routing? or are kits like the drift motion IC kit and HKS IC kit about the biggest usable intercooler you can stick in there? just wondering because my buddies SRT-4 has and aftermarket IC and its...
MHG needs a resurfaced block and head to the right spec, if you pulled the head off the motor for the rebuild and have not resurfaced it i would deff get it done,or at least check for warpage with a quality straight edge, the head will usually warp before the block even on a car that didn't...
thats great info, i still plan on going erg less in my car once its back together, but I'm still very curious as to how everything looks under the head. after my build i will be running a lot of test on egts, cylinder temps and overall health of the motor, i just wanna put down some hard...
