Before you spend any money on those heads, be sure to get them checked for hardness. Also, the exhaust studs. There are various ways to repair that. Some better than others.
For your leather, you can use leatherique. Possibly the best cleaner/conditioner out there. For the dye, Fiebings. Available on Amazon. I have used both products on various leather over the years with very good results.
Just to let people know if they don't, there is a differance between chasing a thread and tapping or retapping threads. There are "taps" available to chase threads. These are not to be used to make new threads.
