I run a spec stage two. The clutch is stock like, with almost no added pedal pressure and no chatter. I have about 300 lb. feet of torque and it works fine. Breakin is critical, and I don't beat my car to death. You will get various opinons on this clutch. For lower power levels, I say thumbs up.
I had cars before this, but in 1973, I bought a 1966 Mercury Cyclone GT. 390 auto with 3.25 rear. I bought a 4 speed donor car for the trans and related parts and installed a new from Ford long block 427 medium riser with a ford top loader and a set of 4.57 gears. At one time the gears got...
Before doing anything concerning the PCV system, perform a compression and cylinder leak down test to determine the general health of the engine. The results of these tests will help point you to a correct repair, without guessing.
I'm sorry, I should have made myself more clear. I take too much for granted. The unit I have in my car now uses a factory toyota amp, stock from the factory. The plugs were changed somewhere around 87. Mine is a 87 and I had used both types of radio's in my car, ext and int amps.
That radio you have will be a plug and play in you're car without a amp. The original brackets will bolt right up. I have a 1996 Supra radio in mine, with the stock amp and only had to change one wire around to make the antenna work as it should. Mine will play all CD's. You're original antenna...
FWIW, my base fuel pressue is set at 30 with the control hose on. At 12 lbs. boost my pressure reads 50 lbs.@6000 RPM's. This is with a 50 trim C26 and a in-cabin gauge, with a Aeromotive regulator.
Make sure there is oil in it and go for it. If it actually starts, then you can check out other systems. If there is a problem, you will find out soon. You have to start somewhere.
veedub, I am from the Reading/Sinky/Denver area. I sometimes cruise into you're area, slide down 272 and into longs park in Lancaster for a pit stop, Then head back home on 222N. There are not too many Supra's in the area that I am aware of. There are a couple of guys that post from the...
In my standard trans I use redline MTL. For me it works very well, vehicle shifts very smooth and is quiet. Comes highly recomended. In the rear I use redline 75W90 gear lube. Also a good oil to use. You will get many suggestions and there are other good fluids too. Research and choose what you...
Please stop this internet battle on what oil and/or filter is best. There is no best to cover all applications. It is a great feeling to get the most for you're money, but it ain't gonna happen all the time, every time. Things change and you will not be able to keep up on the new, bright star...
Mine works just as above, Drivers side handle only on mine. As far as lubrication goes, WD 40 will work just fine, maybe a spray grease that applies thin. With the protective key door, you don't have to worry too much about dust and dirt, although 15-20 years of non lube can get the critical...
Several species of small furry animals gathered together in a cave and grooving with a pict, Astronomy domine, Careful with that ax Eugene, Set the controls for the heart of the sun, A saucerful of secrets. You Guy's are lightweights.
DEKA is probably the one you missed JJ. The reason I know is because I live close to the plant. As of yesterday they have made the Delco and motorcraft batteries, plus many other brand names.
Yea, I used it about ten years ago. I used it in my old, worn out, 480B Case backhoe. The engine ran fine but smoked like hell. After I used the stuff it still smoked like hell. I still have that machine, still runs good and still smokes like hell.
Spend you're money on a lottery ticket. At least that way you will have some fun and a chance to win. Don't put that crap in you're car if you have any love for it, unless it's just a junker, then put 50 weight in it.
