    morganson's COP S-Type setup

To make things eaiser, all plates are getting ground from this time forward. Makes the process of bunches go alot easier. For this next group Ill still do the 28 per plate with 1.00 for the tube (if anyone can get me a close length I can cut 2 of them just about to size) and shipping to...

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

I wonder if each coil is radius just a bit different? I could take a little more lateral away. The coils I used were "standard" and an accel unit.

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

morgnason, supraguy, can you tell where the holes need to get moved too? There a little off in the first test one I did that was to thin before I modded the drawing. But without the coils to test I dont know where to move the holes to so the coils still fit good. Edit, looking at the plate...

ill check the paper work when I get home and I'll refund it. if there was a spacer, it would be taped to the end of the box. I apologize for not including it, I was trying to be careful to not let this happen.

IM spending this week and into next weekend getting caught up on the rest of the work I have promised so I can pull another car in to MS for me. Id like to get a count with anyone that is reading how many more covers I should cut. Ive mental noted 3 along the way and 2 of them have been...

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

I think the plan (Im not 100%) is the end user welds a bolt into the center hex section and uses it as a stud. I had asked a while back if anyone could give me a bolt length and I could supply that too, but never heard.

    Solid pinion spacer question

It may not have been overtorqued, them nuts are tight to keep the preload for 200, 300 thousand miles. With the crush washer it takes like 300ft/lbs to initiate the crush, and depending on thread, youll be torqueing the new nut pretty tight too, probably with some locktite. I can totally see...

    Solid pinion spacer question

Unless the old bearing was growling and flat out worn, he should be ok. Ive done about 6 myself and helped with about dozen other solid spacer setups and all have been within 1in/lb after the new bearing install. For testing we would install the seal to see what overall tension was, then...

    Solid pinion spacer question

You said it right. The setup needs torqued (without seal) and pinion preload set. Pulling it apart each time to get the spacers correct. And once your close, a .001 change is a lot. To overcome the bearing problem, you diegrind the inner race of the old one just enough so it will slip...
