One question. What are you guys running for AFR with your maps. Are you running 14.x under vaccum and 11.x or 12.x under boost. Because it doesn't seem like the maps would be so smooth. I know mine isn't. :aigo:
I know that this an old thread, and thats why all the ebay links are dead. Can somebody show me a new link to what you guys are using. Also it looks as this is a simply two wire device. So why can't the idle speed control option be used with this.
Jay, I doubt this is the answer to your problem and I'm not sure if anybody has posted this yet, but I was just wondering if your blowing the spark out on your plugs. I had a friend that had this problem with a 240. I don't remember how he solved it, but maybe look to see if the gap is too big...
Sweet I'll have to figure this out, because using switches was driving me nuts.
Anybody using a wideband to do datalogging and then adjusting your map from there using rpm points, psi points and afr. I find it really have to watch the afr while holding 10psi. Staying under the speed limit is...
Has anybody just taken there stinger to a tuner without a base tune done to it. I'm just worried about the set up properties. I'm not sure where some stuff should be set at. Thats why I was hoping that someone else could put there tune up or that aaron would do a complete instructional video on...
Jay just wondering if you wouldn't mind posting your tune like mark did. Your set up sounds close to mine. I have a gt4082 with 640cc injectors.
Also If you don't mind I was wondering how much it cost you to rent aaron for a weekend of tuning. I know that I live a lot more north than you do...
quick question about the coolent temperature enrichment. When I change the values I can't get it to save. I write it to the ecu and save it, but when I close it and open it back up all the settings are back to where they were before. Anybody got any idea as to what I'm doing wrong.
I'm looking for a replacement air temperature sensor. Just wondering if anybody has used a fast-response replacement sensor and what the part number is or if anybody knows what thread size the stock sensor is.
Wondering if anybody has this part number. I talked to aaron about a 1jz air temperture sensor. He told me that there is a gm fast-response sensor that is better and is cheap. So if anybody can help me out with a part number that would be great, so far a can't find anything with the same thread...
Yes aaron please make some informational videos on the stinger. I just got mine running yesterday. It feels great to have it finally running. I still have a lot of work and a lot of tunning, but 8lbs on a gt4082 is fun.
I need someone willing to help me out and look at their stock 1jz wiring for the injectors. What I need to know is the wiring colors in order from the firewall to the radiator please. There should be (two red clips) with white and black wire, a (red and grey clip) with black and white w/blue...
Yeah they are not the same lenght. So theres no problem with the front and the back injector clips. Just all the middle ones pretty much. I noticed that the old clips where red and grey. Just wondering if this would be two different firing sets. And if so that maybe they would be color coded...
My friend and I were putting my injectors back into my 1j today and he asked me which injector clip went to which injector. I have aftermarket injectors so I wired on different clips and I didn't number the old ones at all. So I'm just wondering if there is a specific order that the injectors...
They are in the car so I won't be able to get any good pics, but they LOOK like the 680cc ones that aaron sells. Has anybody had an experience with rebuilding the injectors. Like sending them to RC injectors, cause I'm probably going to take them out know and send them to get flow tested.
I was wondering if I got some injectors that were part of an older scam. I got the injectors from a member on here, but it was a 500hp kit from MTR racing. (http://www.manictechracing.com/mtr1j50fukit.html ) The injectors look nothing like the picture. They are the skinny profile ones. They...
