Injector firing order?

My friend and I were putting my injectors back into my 1j today and he asked me which injector clip went to which injector. I have aftermarket injectors so I wired on different clips and I didn't number the old ones at all. So I'm just wondering if there is a specific order that the injectors should go in. If so could anybody shine some light onto where I can find information. Thanks

when ever ive plugged injectors back in, i just take the clip that will reach the farthest and put that one to the #1 cyl injector, then the second longest to the #2, and so on.

I could see this not working if you didnt keep the length the same as before the aftermarket clips

Yeah they are not the same lenght. So theres no problem with the front and the back injector clips. Just all the middle ones pretty much. I noticed that the old clips where red and grey. Just wondering if this would be two different firing sets. And if so that maybe they would be color coded wires going to the red set and different colored wires going to the second set.
