Ok i just installed my TT with PnP harness and seem to be having some problems. When I plug in the TT with the car off my battery light and wideband will turn on(my power wire of my wideband is wired to the ecu). Also when i turn the car on to test the TT and then turn it off the TT will just...
Why do the twins need to come off to replace them? Theres no reason for that pull the valve covers, the twins aren't in the way. And if you replace the seals the right way they will not drop into the cylinder with compressed are or just use the good old rope technique.
But to the top poster...
I have a blitz nur-spec with a test pipe and from the y-pipe/dp from the 1J I had to push my exhaust back a little so it's snug but it was no big deal. With a lowered car it's inevitable that your gonna scrape every once in a while.
I don't know much about the stinger so I couldn't help you adjust that, but pulled timing up top will cause you the issues that you are describing. I may still recommend to re-gap your plugs down in a little bit too.
Yeah it almost sounds like your spark is blowing out at WOT, I second re-gapping the plugs I had the same issue with my old talon when running cop the gap was too big at .028 so I had to gap them down and it helped the issue. I also did add another ground strap.
I have a feeling it will make it fail sooner. I don't have one on mine because the plastic nipples on the valves broke, so I just replaced it with just a single vac line.
I'd be all over given you a hand but I'm not even close to you, it would be done in an hour or two I'm assuming your not good with step by step instructions? I'm more then willing to help but obviously can't get to you.
I have a quick question about my turbo timer, the pics below is all I have for my TT am I missing an original harness in order to use a jumper harness so I don't have to splice into the ignition wires? Someone please let me know it's all I received when I purchased it from a member, thanks.
First you need to put into play how healthy your 1J is, mine has perfect compression across the board with no vac or intake leaks all of that will play a major part especially the compression.
I myself was also on a dynopak like yourself and wanted to gotest that theory out on a mustang dyno...
How much? Seriously, I may have to pick those up depending on price I'm kinda tight on cash but I'd buy anything from you. I love this 1J:naughty: and your a great guy lol.
I will have to agree with you this clip was the best car decision I've made it's amazing and runs very strong! I thank you once again for such a quality clip. As for my goal I will definitely look into those gt2530's, I haven't had a chance to do so yet. As for the cams and injectors I am...
Damn doesn't sound like fun, I'm glad to hear you're getting it all back together though, your lucky with that cop my luck i would have been arrested or something lol. I'll definitely check out the thread.
That's what I think I will do, I just need to buckle down and be happy with the power I'm making for now and try not to rush to get more power, when I know I'll just outgrow the 20gs in short notice. But I'm sure like everyone on here knows power is addicting, my goals always change:biglaugh...
