    Project Silver Supra

Started ripping into my jza70 parts car. Got most of the interior out along with the JDM tails. For some reason someone got the bright idea to use FIPG to glue the lights in instead of using a gasket... Holy shit they were hard to get off without hurting them. But damn worth it they are SEXY..!

    Heater Core kicked the bucket?

Mine was just leaking at the o-rings but I opted to replace the hole thing too. Now theres reassurance that its not going to go again for another 20+ years.

    Head Gasket thickness selection

High comp 7M's are dope and all for lower boost engines but when you want to crank it up a bit meth or race gas is needed. I had to throw in some C12 to run 15 psi on a 60 trim ct26.

    Heater Core kicked the bucket?

Its definitely worth a shot to check. Even still, doing a heater core in these cars is WAY better then most cars since the dash comes out fairly easily. I did my homework before starting the job and had it done in 5.5 hrs give or take.

    flywheel bolts backing off

^ all of the above sounds like a must. Its no fun when a flywheel comes through your floor and tries to eat your feet.

my 7mgte at 10psi air fuel? and possible max boost? mod list

If you read the instructions on the wideband kit it tells you to mount the wide band O2 sensor 12-16 inches from the turbo so your install is correct. If your still on the stock CT26 and fuel system, you will be limited buy fuel cut. 10-12 psi give or take will be your max psi.

    flywheel bolts backing off

yes red lock tight will work very well. If you have issues getting them off in the future, just put a propane a torch to the bolt and it will free up the lock tight.

Car is completely dead, no lights at all or crank randomly

Really does sound like its this. I had the same issue and it turned out to be the battery clamps themselves were no good even though they seemed tight.

Got the TTR home this afternoon with the help of a crane truck to get it up my steep ass driveway. Going to swap over things like the momo wheel, recaro interior, front sway bar, trim, JDM tails and a couple other things. Im stoked to get rid of the ox blood interior and replace with the shadow...
