The lip came stock on all MKIII's, but quite a few are missing them now.

1 - in short, yes. there are a few different ways to do it. 2 - yes, it will bolt right in. there is a very good page here that tells you everything you will need to do the swap. edit: damnit 1TuffSupra beat me to the link to Dr. Jonez's page :icon_razz

yeah that is a cut stock shifter.

People have also complained about having to grind down the flanges to make the header fit on the head properly. I haven't installed mine yet, so I can't personally comment on that issue.

There would definately be a market for an affordable header that is well designed and actually fits without having to be modified to work. Currently all we really have are Pacesetter, OBX, and Paeco (which apparently is a modified Pacesetter). I believe 935 Motorsports also sells modified headers.

I have the exact same problem! I plan to replace the handle this summer with a new one from Toyota.

Only the N/A cars had the third brake light in the window, regardless of year.
