1 - in short, yes. there are a few different ways to do it.
2 - yes, it will bolt right in. there is a very good page here that tells you everything you will need to do the swap.

People have also complained about having to grind down the flanges to make the header fit on the head properly. I haven't installed mine yet, so I can't personally comment on that issue.
There would definately be a market for an affordable header that is well designed and actually fits without having to be modified to work.
Currently all we really have are Pacesetter, OBX, and Paeco (which apparently is a modified Pacesetter). I believe 935 Motorsports also sells modified headers.
